About RerollHQ

Patch 16.13

An honest, transparent look at where these numbers come from — and where they don't.

Live sample size

All

9,977

matches

Plat+

9,977

matches

Diamond+

9,216

matches

Master+

6,860

matches

Sample sizes are shown live and update as the collector runs. Each match contributes 8 player boards, so counts are reported as matches. A rank bucket is treated as "ready" once it clears about 125 matches; below that, the site transparently shows all-rank data instead of hiding the page.

Where the data comes from

Every statistic on RerollHQ is computed from real, finished Teamfight Tactics games pulled from the official Riot Games API — specifically the ranked queue (queue 1100). We do not use simulations, hand-authored tier lists, or third-party scrapes.

How matches are sampled

Collection is focused on the top of the ranked ladder. We continuously discover high-rated players, then walk their recent ranked match history, de-duplicating games so each match counts once. Placements, units, items, and traits are read directly from each match's participant records.

How the numbers are computed

For each patch and rank bucket we aggregate every observed unit, item, trait, comp, and full build, tracking games played, average placement, top-4 rate, and win rate. Rows below a minimum sample threshold are hidden from default views; rows just above it carry a "low sample" tag so you can weigh them accordingly. Average placement is the headline metric throughout — lower is better.

Patch & update cadence

Stats are scoped to the current live patch (16.13, TFTSet17). Published pages are cached and revalidated every 15 minutes, so figures stay fresh while keeping load on the data source minimal.

A note on honesty

This project is young and its samples are still growing. Rather than inflate confidence, we surface sample sizes everywhere and frame small-sample comps as "emerging." As the dataset grows, the numbers you see will only get sharper.
